Bernard Deschler accepts commissions
and welcomes working with you on your special projects.
If you're interested in having a specific work of art commissioned
for your church, temple, monument, property or special project,
please fill out the Request
More Information form. The artist will work very closely
with a client on commissioned projects.
The following four items should be considered when commissioning
a large or small scale sculpture. Providing this information
will enable the artist to furnish you with a reliable time
period of development, along with additional materials that
will best serve to enhance your specific project.
1) The Theme.
2) The Size. Large scale outdoor or indoor installation
sizes are usually determined by location.
3) Pictures of the surrounding environment will help in
the creative process.
4) The type of material for the completed sculpture.
After you provide the above items to the artist, discussions
will take place directly with the artist regarding a variety
of issues, including installation. Upon a verbal commission
agreement, the artist will follow up with a written contract
to define the time of completion, as well as the various
stages for inspection by the client. A 45% deposit is required
to begin the project with 40% due when the sculpture is
ready for shipment and the final balance due upon receipt
of the commissioned artwork. |
